We have been having an issue with Steven's ring. The outer sides of the ring were dyed black, and they were supposed to be dyed all the way through so that the color wouldn't chip. But sure enough, after just a few weeks of him wearing the ring the color started to chip. That was simply unacceptable to me! It took me a month of telling Steven that it wasn't supposed to do that and to take it back for him to actually do it.

But he finally went to Kerry Catherine and showed them what was happening. They took the ring and sent it back to the manufacturer (it's one of the few pieces that they don't make themselves). They called yesterday to tell us that the manufacturer can't fix it and better yet doesn't even know why it's not dyed all the through and chipping.

So needless to say we have to get a new ring and Kerry Catherine doesn't want us to get the same one for obvious reasons. I'm not to happy about that because that ring was just so Steven. But the owner picked out a couple other rings that she says are similar and thinks Steven will like so we're going to look at them on Saturday. I know one thing though, if these rings cost more than the one I bought then I better not have to pay them any more money! And if they're cheaper then I better get a refund for the difference! But they've been so good to us that I'm sure they won't rip us off. So that's the drama of the week!

I got some major progress done on my shop this weekend. I finalized a logo, made a banner for the top of the website, and started researching some pricing/shop policies. By the end of this week I hope to have written all the shop/pricing policies, a business card, letterhead, and invoice. And maybe even a few designs finished and uploaded, but we'll see how the other things go first! I am so excited!

I had a blast with the girl's on Saturday. Dinner was so fun, I can't wait to do it again soon! Last night we went to visit the in-laws to watch the Super Bowl and celebrate Steven's Dad's birthday which is tomorrow. We had a good time, but I got so tired I actually fell asleep during the game. How lame am I?!

We spent part of the weekend adding things to the renter's insurance, like my piano for example. And investigating changing auto insurance companies. Steven even called and set up our home phone service! The company is coming Thursday to install everything. The grand news of the weekend though... we may be getting a new car soon! Well, a used car, but a much needed one nonetheless. Grandma Jessie might be getting a new car and giving us her old one which would be wonderful and very much appreciated!
